I think  Raa whakanuia should not be this wednesday. 

 we need to earn  Ra whakanuia and we need to work on  our Fashion I Think Ra Whakanuia Should Not Be This Wednesday  Whaea Lorraine makes us work hard for Ra Whakanuia and if it is on Wednesday we will not have any work done we take days to do short story 

I think Ra Whakanuia should not happen this wednesday. And most of my classmates go against me but I say we have to earn Ra Whakanuia by achieving.

Ra Whakanuia is when we celebrate all of the good things we have been doing like moving up a level or showing gratitude. And even if you finish your work.I truly Believe that Ra whakanuia should not happen this wednesday because sometimes when this happens the next day they start playing up and you feel that you made a mistake.

I also believe that if we have Ra Whakanuia it will not help in their learning because they will get too excited and all they will be worried about is eating the food and they wouldn’t get much work provided.

My name is Lagofaatasi  Francis and I am 10 years old. My mum’s name is Twell  and she is 30 years old.  and   My dad is 39 years old and my dad’s name is Francis.

I love my family because they look  after me and take care of me and I take care of them and they are fun to play with.

I love my dad because he can fix some things  and he can fix the car.

I love my mum because she makes the best food and she makes me laugh so much.

I love my brother because he always helps me and he loves me and I love him too.

I love my little sister because she is the cutest sister and she always makes me happy and we have fun

I love My family because we play together and we go on family trips. 

My favorite food is chocolate ice cream because it is yummy.

                                                                                  Yesterday

It was a really hot day, so hot that I was burning. Our school had been practicing our performance for the whole term. We all walked down to the marae together and our class had buddies from room 3.

When we got to the marae we all went and sat behind the stage. The crowd was big and I was feeling nervous and a bit excited. Rooms 1,  2,  4, and 10 performed a haka powhiri when Santa came from the helicopter to his motorbike then walked up to the stage. I really liked the haka powhiri and I really liked doing the pukana. It  made me feel happy and excited and a bit nervous but after we finished I felt proud of myself and my school.

Then we went back behind the stage and grabbed our bags then followed Whaea Lorraine and lined up to go and get an ice block then went to sit at the front of the stage to watch the rest of our school perform as we ate them. My mum and dad came so Whaea Lorraine let me go with them. Me and my dad went to go and grab some popcorn, chips and other things. After that we walked to our car and my dad drove us back home. I wish we  stayed longer but I am glad we left because it was really hot and so loud.

I feel like all the practice we were doing all team was worth it. It was so much fun to perform for all of the people that were there watching us. I really like to haka, it makes me feel happy and great. I hope we get to do something like that next year too.

In week two I read a story called The Race. Once upon a time there was a town named Brownsville And there was a man called Demon Dan. They Call him Demon Dan because he was the very best skateboarder in town.And he also likes skating in the park and He likes skating on rails and benches but most of Demon Den really  likes to skate down a steep hill real fast wheeeee!  Then Demon Dan would start at any steep hill. Then he would fly down at breakneck speed. The people in Brownsville would think Damon Dan would break his neck at breakneck speed. But he didn’t.

Demon Dan moved from Brownsville to a new town. And Demon Dan was thinking if there was a best skateboarder in this town. It was Cool Cal. Was so cool and good at skating that little kids came to him and skated with him and they can have some fun.and  Cool Cal was skating on the benches and rails And the little kids try to skate on  Benches and rails but they Hurt their self.  But one day Demon Dan and Cool Cal met Each other in the park And Demon Den looked at him and Demon Dan said  that he looks very good but not as good as me. 

So cool cal said You want a race said cool cal. and Demon Den said sure You have the steepest street let’s go.cool cal  said the little kids show him where we’re going and  he said to show him to sharp street And the little kids say no one have ever raced down there because it’s the steepest street In town. Cool Cal had never raced down at Sharp Street and the little kids said Go Go cool cal and  Demon Den and Both of them wanted to win so they went faster and faster and faster and Cool Cal  have  Never went a breakneck speed and then a dreadful thing happened.
